Marianne T. Green

Computers Teacher/Instructional Coach

Archdiocese of Washington, PreK-8

From analyzing Chaucer to building robots, my journey in Computer Science has seamlessly blended the worlds of words and wires. A humanities grad, I discovered my tech passion at Georgetown University by building websites and helping students navigate their tech woes. This early spark ignited a fire, and now I weave technology into multi-modal lessons, from coding to award-winning student projects, proving STEM and the humanities can be beautiful partners.

My love for tech integration has not gone unnoticed. I have been recognized nationally for my lessons and student work, and collaborations with Saint Joseph's College, Maine and Apple Education have allowed me to share my passion further. Even the Smithsonian Lemelson Center and Birdbrain Technologies have taken notice, featuring my work on their media platforms. This recognition fuels my drive to keep innovating, and I am excited to be heading to ISTE Denver with two accepted showcases. What is my goal? To empower students to become tech-savvy storytellers, weaving their own narratives with code and creativity. Stay tuned, because this is just the beginning!
